Happy New Year!

I had an amazing Christmas with my family - Peter and I, along with our older son Lee and his new bride Jeannie, and our younger son Adam. We spent a relaxed time just being together at home, visited the Calgary Zoo Lights and Kananaskis Village (family photo), and made some awesome memories.

Driving around Calgary this past week, I was listening to some of my songs. “Show Me the Way” came on and I heard it in a completely new way! Watch my response in my YouTube video.

I’m preparing to share at two upcoming events and would love to see you! Join us in Okotoks, AB (January 14) and in Saskatoon, SK (January 30). I will share about my personal experience with the trauma and ongoing healing from emotional and sexual abuse, and how and why I wrote my song “Brave Girl”. I will also offer genuine empathy for abuse survivors, and advice to loved ones and the Church in how to better respond in support. My CD “Brave Girl” will also be available for purchase. Both are free events and are for all women and girls, 12 years old and older.
