Rhonda Louise & Amy Savin BC/AB Tour: March 19-31, 2020 - Still On!

The COVID-19 Coronavirus has been a worldwide concern for weeks, and when it reached Canada it became more concerning for Canadians. While media has been helpful in sharing facts it inadvertently has created a spirit of fear. And while a crisis should bring people together to support one another, the fear has created chaos.

Amy Savin and I have talked and have prayed over our tour since it’s early planning stages, and our prayer has been for God to send us where, and when, he wants us to go. As I’ve learned in last tours, “We can make our plans, but God determines our steps” (Proverbs 16:9). Even after a tour has been finalized, once on the road, plans can shift, and the shift always brings wonder of God’s grace, providence, and provision. He truly uses every thing for his purpose.

In this, Amy and I have decided to go on with our tour. Amy eloquently said it this way - “Now more than ever, people need hope and light. We need to refocus... We’re going to sing songs that re-center, and turn our eyes on Jesus, the Author Of Our Hope. I’d love for more Christian voices to speak up and be hopeful, to be optimistic - not because we are in denial, but because we are anchored.”

Pray for God’s will as Amy and I talk with our hosts and churches/venues as we go forward. Pray for travel safety and a good night’s rest in a different bed every night. And pray that every soul that will be brought out to our shows will know God’s love, forgiveness, and grace for them as their own.
