God is Enough

Hey! How are you, my friends? This past March has been somewhat of a trying period for me, and I’ve sometimes felt as though I’m in a desert place. It has been very healing, though, as while I may have felt weak, lonely or discouraged, God has reminded me that He is enough for me. He caused me to wait on him for everything, and the growing period is just what I needed. David’s words in Psalm 34:18 became my constant reminder - “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” This past weekend I had the huge honor and privilege of working with multi award winning producer Bart McKay at his recording studio in Saskatoon, SK. I appreciated Bart’s humility and easy spirit, his expertise, and now his friendship. Thank you again, Bart, for everything! I’ve never written or recorded a song quite like this before, and I’m very excited to share it with you! ! We are continuing to work on this song, and we hope to have it available to you this Easter! Watch for this single available digitally through my web site as well as on iTunes and CD Baby. My new single is named, “Rahab”, and is based on the story of Rahab as recorded in Joshua 2 and 6. “I wonder if she was pretty, Did her hair curl in the rain?, She must’ve had a welcoming smile…” I cannot wait for you to hear it! Stay tuned! Join me at The House Coffee Sanctuary in Calgary on Sat., April 19th, (Easter Weekend), as I debut this special song. My CDs and this single will be available for purchase. I look forward to seeing you there! Please refer to my Dates page for more information. I hope you are doing well. If you are feeling as though you are in a “desert place”, stay close to your Heavenly Father for comfort, guidance, and His undying love. He loves you. Keep going
