Her voice has been called "strong, yet soothing and calming," while her talent as a pianist has also been recognized ("Clearly the best pianist we heard today." - Ali Mathews, 2012 Canadian Gospel Music Association talent judge).

Suffering a near-fatal illness as a toddler, being frequently sick in her childhood and adulthood, and supporting her sons in their illnesses, Rhonda Louise understands the significance of both significant and small miracles. She has also experienced loneliness and emotional pain, stemming from disappointing responses to her personal pain.

Rhonda Louise's growing Christian faith has taught her more about God’s love. “Jesus came to be our sacrifice, our Saviour from sin. But more than that, He’s our Everyday Saviour. While we aren’t always seen, heard, and accepted as we hope to be by those close to us, God does. He sees us only as He created us, He hears us from within in how we think and feel, and He accepts us. He created us exactly as He designed us to be and loves us “as is”. In all of that He welcomes us when we go to Him for forgiveness and salvation. It’s a beautiful and safe place to rest.

Touring in western Canada, Rhonda Louise has performed and shared in concerts, coffee houses, small church groups, women’s ministries, youth ministries, youth prison ministry, resort/hotel lobby performances, and private house concerts.

Rhonda Louise lends everything within her to her songs. "Songwriting is extremely vulnerable and revealing. It's somewhat of a musical diary," she says. "Every song has a story behind it, as if to say 'Here is what I have felt, lived through, learned from, and what I have celebrated'. When I am ready to share that memory with my fans it is an incredibly special moment." Her songs have caught the attention of Christian radio both in Canada and the USA. She has received GMA Canada Covenant Award nominations for "Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year" for her album "Paradise" (2013), and "Video of the Year" for "Brave Girl" (2022).

Rhonda Louise’s most recent album, “Brave Girl” is her most vulnerable album yet. "Brave Girl" is titled after its signature song, one she wrote as an encouragement to heal from her own personal experience with sexual and emotional abuse in the music industry. Rhonda reflects, "In my own recovery, I have learned that we have not always responded well to the survivors of abuse." In this, her focus has shifted from performing to speaking and sharing about “Brave Girl” – telling her own story of abuse and ongoing healing, giving hope to fellow survivors, and offering advice to their circle of friends and family, and to the church in how to better respond. The response has been incredible. "Speaking about my own history, of course, is very taxing and emotionally draining, so pacing myself has been critical. The outcome from each event, though, is worth the effort.”

Rhonda Louise is accepting bookings within Canada and the USA, for speaking engagements in churches, groups, schools, and other women’s/girl’s ministries. Rhonda Louise also welcomes radio, TV, YouTube, and podcast interviews worldwide. She appreciates receiving letters and emails, learning how her fans have related to her music.
